Remembering Those Who Served

Dear Members of the A&M-San Antonio Community:

Today, we join our nation in remembering those who served our country in uniform.Through the observance of Veterans Day, we recognize and give thanks for the many selfless sacrifices they and their families have made.

As a Military Embracing University, we are committed to providing our military-connected students, who make up 17 percent of all our students, with outstanding support services. Please be sure to remind your military-connected students that the Office of Military Affairs provides academic, life and career skills support for student veterans, military personnel and their military families enrolled at A&M-SA. They can also tap into resources available through Student Counseling & Wellness Services, which provides short-term individual, couples and group counseling services, consultation and prevention services.

As we enter the holiday season and look forward to spending time with family and friends, let's remember to give thanks for the freedoms and rights we enjoy... and for the brave men and women who protect and defend our way of life.
