Apply SAN ANTONIO – As Texas A&M University-San Antonio enters its second decade as a stand-alone institution, the University is well on its way to becoming a national model for Hispanic-Serving Institutions. A&M-San Antonio, the fastest campus in the A&M System, was ranked sixth in the nation in bilingual, multilingual and multicultural education by Hispanic Outlook on Education Magazine™.

The A&M-San Antonio student body is 73 percent Hispanic, and approximately 67 percent of students are the first in their family to attend college. Among the Institution’s multicultural academic programs are the Mexican American, Latinx and Borderlands Studies Program in the College of Arts and Sciences and the bilingual/ESL Education program in the College of Education and Human Development.
