Department of Educator and Leadership Preparation

Welcome to the Department of Educator and Leadership Preparation (ELP) in the College of Education and Human Development (COEHD) at Texas A&M University-San Antonio!  We are delighted that you have chosen our department to pursue your educational advancement in either of the following programs:  Bilingual Education (EDBL), Early Childhood (EDCE), Educational Administration (EDAD), or Special Education (EDSE).  We are in an exciting time in the field of education and our department is interested in cultivating professionals in these fields of study to promote a culture of supportiveness and community that maximizes teaching and learning for all.

In this department and college, you will engage in a curriculum that will prepare you to be Ready to Teach and Lead from Day One from our world-class faculty.  You will also receive guidance and learning that will catalyze your ability to lead in our growing multilingual and multicultural communities.
